October 23, 2025 Gathering

Lafayette Grande, Pontiac, Michigan

Our gathering on October 23, 2025 was a meaningful and encouraging moment for the Michigan Coalition. More than 100 pastors and ministry leaders came together to build relationships, share challenges, and celebrate the power of unity as we advance the Gospel together. Doug Schmidt highlighted the importance of building genuine friendships and caring for one another as leaders. Dave Ferguson called us toward deeper collaboration among churches. David Nelms cast the ACHIEVE vision, A CHurch In Every Village Everywhere, pointing to the global impact possible when the Church moves together. This gathering reflected the growing momentum of a community of churches across Michigan choosing unity, collaboration, and shared mission to advance the Gospel locally and around the world.

About Us

The Michigan Coalition exists because the Gospel moves fastest when the Church moves together. We are a growing community of churches and ministry leaders across Michigan who are committed to building meaningful relationships and collaborating for the sake of the Gospel.

Out of that shared commitment comes a clear vision: to see a healthy, reproducing church in every county in Michigan and to plant 10,000 churches globally through our partnership with The Timothy Initiative. We believe God multiplies impact through unity, and that when the Church in Michigan chooses to work together, we can reach Michigan communities and make a global difference in ways we could never accomplish on our own. We are better together, and together we exist to advance the Gospel in Michigan and across the world for the glory of God.

The Timothy Initiative

The Timothy Initiative is a global movement that makes and multiplies disciples, churches, and leaders. The ministry model is based on 2 Timothy 2:2: "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others." Since its inception in 2007, TTI has made tremendous impact:

- Planted over 246,416 churches

- Developed over 2,220,471 disciples

- Baptized 449,903 individuals

- Served 178,836 widows and orphans

- Impacted 1,540 Unreached People Groups (UPGs).
